Privacy Policy

Purpose and operator

Everyday Why Studio is operated for the Everyday Why YouTube channel. Contact the operator at makepage365@gmail.com about access, deletion or this policy.

Data accessed and stored

The tool stores Google authorization tokens, the authorized account identifier, YouTube channel and video identifiers, titles, descriptions, publication status and available engagement metadata. It creates and manages production files in Google Drive using the drive.file permission, limited to files created by or selected for the app. It does not request Gmail, contacts or unrestricted Drive access.

How information is used

Account authorization is used to perform the operator’s requested archive and YouTube publishing operations. Public video metadata may inform original topic and format planning. Scripts, images, narration, captions, review results and delivery receipts are retained to produce videos, prevent duplicate publication and diagnose failed jobs.

Services and sharing

Google provides YouTube and Drive. DigitalOcean hosts the production worker. OpenAI tools assist with original scripts, images and narration; production content and selected public metadata may be processed by those tools. Google authorization tokens are kept separate from creative production files and are not supplied in creative prompts. Cloudflare hosts these public information pages. The operator does not sell Google user data or use it for personalized advertising.

Protection and retention

Transfers use HTTPS where supported by the service. Credential files on the production server are restricted to the server owner account. Production files and operational records are retained for channel operation and recovery until removed by the operator. Account authorization remains until revoked, expired or removed. This public website does not offer access to private production files.

Revocation and deletion

Google access can be revoked in Google Account connections. Revocation prevents future authorized API operations but does not by itself delete existing videos, Drive files or stored production records. The operator can remove those separately; contact makepage365@gmail.com to request removal of app-held data.

Google API data

Everyday Why Studio’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. YouTube API use is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

Changes

Changes to these data practices will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
